Honestly, this month did not involve much reading. I’m still in the middle of A Clash of Kings which is seriously heating up and Cersei really needs to cool it with her relos.
A mini rant:
OMG, Aus Post is seriously annoying. I am waiting for books mailed to me 4 WEEKS AGO. I repeat: FOUR WEEKS AGO!!!
WHERE ARE THEY??
I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY HOPE THEY’RE NOT LOST.
Has anyone else experience super snail mail from Aus Post?
Thank you so much to Penguin and Allen & Unwin for these two!!!
- Tess of the D’Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy
Bought this ’cause the story sounded interesting and the cover had chickens. I think chickens are yummy so that was a bonus.
- The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
I think I forgot to include this in a book haul but I bought it with a voucher in February. A) It was hardcover and B) I have only heard positive things about it.
- The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
I’m using this as my related text for school and let me just say, Esther is one lonely person.
- Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare
I’m pretty tired of the ‘I love him but I need to to pull away to protect him’ complications always being brought up again and again. Other than that, it was entertaining.
There was March in books!
WHICH BOOKS DID YOU GET IN MARCH???
